Imports: International trade shows signs of bottoming-out

Widespread Covid-19 lockdowns led to a record collapse in international trade in April 2020. Provisional merchandise trade data for May 2020 suggest that the bottom may be in sight, with moderate growth in some economies and a slowdown in the pace of contraction in others.
