The OECD will launch a Youth Policy Toolkit at 11:00am CET/10:00am GMT on Tuesday 26 November. The Toolkit aims to support policymakers by providing concrete guidance for designing and executing youth policies for young people. Drawing from over 70 case studies across OECD countries, it supports the implementation of the OECD Recommendation of the Council on Creating Better Opportunities for Young People, adopted in June 2022.
OECD Deputy Secretary-General Yoshiki Takeuchi will launch the Toolkit at an event hosted by the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth at 11:00am CET/10:00am GMT in Maia, Portugal, followed by a panel discussion featuring youth representatives and policymakers.
Structured around five key pillars, the Toolkit looks at policy advice: education and skills, employment and entrepreneurship, social and health outcomes, participation in public life, and intergenerational justice.
Journalists are invited to follow the event online or on-site by registering here.
