Expert Workshop on Opportunities for Green Bond Issuance: Ameriabank’s Experience

This event provided an opportunity for Sanoatquirilishbank (SQB), a commercial state-owned bank and one of the largest in Uzbekistan, to learn from and establish links with Ameriabank. SQB employees learnt from Ameriabank’s recent experience with developing a green bond framework, preparing green bond issuances and monitoring the results of the investments financed with the proceeds from the bonds. The issues covered during the discussions and the meeting materials, prepared by Ameriabank, were tailored to the needs of SQB staff. This event is a part of the Sustainable Infrastructure Programme in Asia (SIPA), funded by Germany’s Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Protection and Consumer Protection through the International Climate Initiative (IKI).
