The OECD Regional Development Policy Committee (RDPC) is at the forefront of designing and implementing impactful place-based policies aimed at enhancing living standards and well-being for citizens in regions, cities, and rural areas globally.
Twice a year, representatives from relevant ministries and organizations convene to shape a vision for place-based, multi-level, and multi-sectoral regional development policy. Since its inception, the RDPC has played a pivotal role in influencing global debates, establishing itself as a premier forum for high-level policymakers.
Furthermore, every five years, the RDPC hosts a ministerial-level meeting, assembling Ministers responsible for regional and urban development, as well as territorial reforms. This gathering serves as a platform for in-depth discussions on current challenges and strategic planning for the future. Join us in shaping the future of regional development policies that impact communities worldwide.
