The study benefitted greatly from insights provided by experts and different stakeholders during more than 40 semi-structured interviews carried in April and November 2021 as well as the workshop on the preliminary findings of “The Drivers of Trust in Government Institutions in Finland” organised by DFO and the OECD in November 2021. The OECD would like to thank all people interviewed and all workshop participants for their inputs to this study. Finally, this study also benefited from invaluable input provided by peer officials from OECD countries, in particular Katju Holkeri (Head of the Governance Policy Unit at the Ministry of Finance in Finland) and Michael Elkjaer Pedersen (Chief Adviser International Affairs, Agency for Public Finance and Management in Denmark), who took part in the virtual workshop “The Drivers of Trust in Government Institutions in Norway”.
