Shifting the financial system and strengthening enabling environments to mobilise trillions
The OECD Forum on Green Finance and Investment 2024 explores new approaches for international collaboration in order to speed up the critical shift of finance towards low-emission, climate resilient, biodiversity-positive and other green activities, and foster transformative investments in the real economy.
Taking place from 15-16 October, the Forum will convene a series of high-level plenaries plus parallel sessions around the theme "shifting the financial system and strengthening enabling environments to mobilise trillions".
This flagship event brings together leading actors from the green and sustainable finance and investment community to promote effective engagement, collaboration and action on green finance and investment. Last year's edition welcomed 70+ high-level speakers, 15+ sessions and 1 400+ attendees.
The event launches with opening remarks and a keynote speech at 09:20 CEST on Tuesday, 15 October featuring OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and Commissioner at the Spanish Financial Markets Authority Helena Viñes Fiestas.
Join us for discussions on key topics including:
- the role of investment funds in channelling green capital flows
- aligning finance with climate policy goals
- how to mobilise finance and investment for adaptation and resilience
- opportunities for scaling up private biodiversity finance
Media are invited to all sessions of the two-day event.
The Forum will be held in person at the OECD Conference Centre and online. Please register your attendance via the following link:
