The Digital Government Review of Slovenia was prepared by the OECD Directorate for Public Governance (GOV), under the leadership of Elsa Pilichowski.
The review was produced by the OECD Open and Innovative Government Division (GOV/OIG), under the supervision of Barbara-Chiara Ubaldi, Head of Digital Government and Data Unit.
Chapters 1 and 2 were written by João Ricardo Vasconcelos, Digital Government Policy Analyst in the Open and Innovative Government Division. Chapter 3 was written by Lucia Chauvet, Junior Digital Government Policy Analyst in the Open and Innovative Government Division. Chapters 4 and 5 were written by Benjamin Welby, Digital Government Policy Analyst in the Open and Innovative Government Division. All chapters benefitted from the strategic orientation and revisions of Barbara-Chiara Ubaldi. João Ricardo Vasconcelos served as the lead co-ordinator of the review.
This project would not have been possible without the support of the Ministry of Public Administration (MPA) of Slovenia and the valuable support and knowledge provided by the following public officials from OECD countries who acted as peers during the OECD peer review mission to Ljubljana in October 2019:
Ms. Claudia Pico, former Director of Digital Government of the ICT Ministry, Colombia.
Ms. Lina Nilsson, Senior Service Designer, Government Digital Service, Cabinet Office, United Kingdom.
The OECD Secretariat would like to acknowledge the invaluable contribution of all public officials in Slovenia who participated in the OECD survey, the two capacity building workshops on digital talents and, service design and delivery and provided their comments. The OECD Secretariat especially thanks, Mr. Tadej Gabrijel, Secretary of the Directorate for Informatics of the Ministry of Public Administration, and the team within the Ministry of Public Administration for the support and close collaboration throughout the whole policy review process.
Finally, the Secretariat is also grateful to the experts from civil society, the private sector, academia and other communities who participated in the interviews organised in the context of this Review.
