This report was prepared by the Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities (CFE) of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), led by Lamia Kamal-Chaoui, Director, at the request of the Danish Business Authority. It forms part of the programme of work of the OECD Committee on SMEs and Entrepreneurship (CSMEE) on entrepreneurial ecosystems.

In energy technology, interviews were held with representatives of Energy Cluster Denmark (Glenda Napier), Vestas Wind Systems (Bo Svoldgaard), DI Energy (Troels Ranis), Wind Denmark (Jan Hylleberg), Center Denmark (Soren Skov Bording), and Next Step Challenge (Soren Ron). In food and bio resources, interviews were held with representatives of Food and Bio Cluster Denmark (Jacob Mogensen), Arla Foods (Lars Dalsgaard), Fauna Photonics (Frederick Taarnhoj), Royal Greenland (Niels Boknaes), DI Foods (Hanne Bengaard) and Danish Agriculture and Food Council (Nicolai Hansen).
