Government at a Glance 2023 is the work of the OECD Directorate for Public Governance, under the overall leadership of Elsa Pilichowski, Director. The publication was prepared by the OECD Governance Indicators and Performance Division, under the direction of Monica Brezzi, Head of the Division and co-ordinated by Santiago González. The members of the OECD Public Governance Committee and the Government at a Glance Steering Group (listed in Annex H) provided guidance to the publication and substantial comments to the drafts. Many of the indicators included in Government at a Glance reflect the measurement of OECD principles and recommendations developed with the Public Governance Committee (PGC), the Committee of Regulatory Policy (RPC) and the Committee of Senior Budget Officials (SBO). These indicators are collected through OECD surveys to government officials developed in co-operation with the PGC, the RPC, the SBO, the Working Party on Public Employment and Management, the Working Party of Senior Public Integrity Officers, the Working Party of Senior Digital Government Officials (E-Leaders), the Senior Infrastructure and Public Private Partnerships (PPP) and the Working Party of the Leading Practitioners on Public Procurement.
