Le nombre total de lits comprend les lits affectés aux soins curatifs (ou aigus), aux soins de réhabilitation, aux soins de longue durée et autres types de soins. L’indicateur est présenté pour le nombre total de lits, pour celui des lits affectés aux soins curatifs et celui des lits affectés aux soins psychiatriques. Il est mesuré en nombre de lits pour 1 000 habitants.
